La town di Cefalù on the northern coast of Sicily with a with it’s picturesque houses and a long beach of finest sand. San Vito lo Capo on the western end of Sicily is one of the most popular tourist and bathing sites is rich of traces of an ancient past, just few miles away from the Egadi Islands with Marittimo, sacre island, as the Greeks called it; Levanzo, where life passes by in a space temporal dimension that has nothing in common with the bustle of the dry land and the "Big Butterfly" Favignana, with waters which deeply disguise the segrets of ancient battles. The town hides wonderful hypogeum gardens perfumed by fruit trees and plants in bloom. Very fascinating and spectacular is the ancient tuna fishing due in the begin of May learned from the Arabs. A paradise for who is in love with diving is the island of Ustica the black perl of the mediterranean sea with one of the first marine reserves of Italy. |
