Capitain Luca Sbordone was born in Naples, Italy in 1962. Raised on the Bay of Naples, he broadened his expertise becoming a "connoisseur" of the waters and places on the Southern Mediterranean Sea. On his resume he has over 60,000 nautical miles through Greece, Turkey, France but most of all within the Italian waters, about a half of which as a professional sail yachts' skipper. Such an amount of experience has given him a deep knowledge of the Mediterranean places and waters. License of Offshore Captain I.M.O. S.T.C.W. 78/95.

Open Water Diver.

Many years of experience as a rigger of sail yachts, he has a strong technical knowledge of all nautical gear.
BS degree in Business and Administration. Formerly manager at the Libreria Pironti in Naples.

He has interests in Archeology and Conservation; he has participated in several restoration assignments within The Herculaneum Conservation Project for The Packard Humanities Institute in the archaeological site of Herculaneum. Hobbies: hiking, mountain trekking, free climbing, racing skiing, bicycle riding and traveling.

Luca speaks Italian and English, he has a very easygoing character with a natural aptitude for communication and kindness. Politeness and discretion make him the ideal journey companion.
